Drawing on years of experience from
a loving mother who taught me how to clean, what to notice, and why it matters,
to the Army, where I learned efficiency and the joy of a job well done,
to becoming a mother, striving to use products safe for my kids, our home, our pets, and our planet,
I offer home cleaning services with pride, integrity, responsibility, and delight.
Services
Rates are project-dependent, some gig-based, others hourly. Call for a free consultation and estimate.
Considerations for rates:
square footage & number of bathrooms / kitchens
pets / lifestyle conditions
need of depth of cleaning / recency of deep clean
one-time vs. ongoing
distance from Arlington and / or rush job / time-sensitive
Pricing is based on time, effort, and level of detail required. Two homes of the same size can vary drastically depending on how they’re lived in and how recently they’ve been thoroughly cleaned.

New Construction / Renovation
Post-construction dust and debris can make a brand-new space feel unfinished. A detailed construction clean-up allows each surface to shine so the craftsmanship truly stands out. Options: clean-as-you-go or final clean.
Homes in Current Use
Whether you rent or own, an investment into cleaning your space is an investment in your home. One-off cleans can be a great kick-start for new habits; ongoing cleaning gives you peace of mind about what you’ll need to maintain on your own.
Move-In /
Move-Out Reset
Ideal for property turnovers or new beginnings, the clean-out is a very deep-clean of kitchens (including cabinets), baths, floors, and fixtures so you can hand over or step into a pristine space. High traffic walls, doors, and baseboards are attended to with care.
Real Estate Showings / Rental Turnover
A spotless home shows best. From shining surfaces to refreshed spaces, cleaning ensures buyers and renters see the true beauty and potential of the property.
What my clients have said:
“I’m so impressed with the quality of the cleaning. Each surface, corner, and crevice was treated with attention to detail—some things I thought would need to be replaced because of wear or grime came out gleaming. The work was focused, thorough, and clearly done with dedication and pride. My home looked stunning, like its truest self, ready for the next family. Mari’s care restored the original character of the house as well as bringing to life the upgrades we’d made; the charm was able to shine through, creating the perfect ambience for the real estate showings. I highly recommend her.”
~ Peter O., Homeowner
“We hired Mari to come in during a renovation project and clean alongside us. Honestly, I don’t know who was happier—the homeowners or my crew. The cleaning was top-notch, detailed, and thorough, which meant my guys didn’t have to waste time ‘polishing’ when what they really do best is build. The foreman in me was impressed, the crew was relieved, and the house looked fantastic. Let’s just say we’ll happily stick to hammers and saws, and leave the sparkle to the pros.”
~ Chavo B., General Contractor
“I hired Mari for cleaning my rental apartment; it had been lived in by a friend and her kids for several months, and the results were exactly what I hoped for. The space was left fresh, welcoming, and move-in ready. She noticed details and took care of them. She put obvious care into more than just the obvious surfaces. The difference gave me complete peace of mind that my son would be able to move in happy. I couldn’t recommend her work more.”
~ Karen T., Apartment owner
“After my hip replacement, I couldn’t do much around the house, and hiring Mari was the best decision I could have made. Over the course of my two month recovery she cleaned my home top to bottom—bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, living space—and after seeing her handiwork her first session I added on the cabinets I had planned to replace. I honestly thought they were a lost cause, but after her detailed care, the original maple came back to life. I was ready to swap them out for plain white Ikea, but now I get to enjoy the warmth and beauty of my restored cabinets every day. Her contribution was vital to my recovery.”
~ Amy L., Homeowner
“With three kids, three bathrooms, and two dogs, our house is always lived in—and keeping it clean was more challenging until we started working with Mari. Each visit leaves the place ready for more living. She goes above and beyond, adding little touches that make such a difference. When she paused cleaning for a while, we really felt the gap in our lives. When she started her own business, we were thrilled to welcome her back. Reliable, thoughtful, and thorough—we couldn’t ask for better.”
~ Anonymous Homeowners & Parents
“Mari was easy and flexible in setting up a date and time for a cleaning. She worked non-stop and had an efficient work flow, no time wasted. She doesn’t use harsh chemicals that smell unnatural and we loved how clean our house looked and felt after she was done (specifically our hardwood floors and bathrooms). Thank you Mari for outstanding service!”
~ Kristian H., Homeowner
“Mari is trust worthy, reliable, and an excellent cleaner. I came home from vacation to a sparkling bathroom and it was amazing. I highly recommend her for your next house cleaning needs.”

Cleaning Matters
Welcome to my blog! I’ve name it Cleaning Matters for a few reasons.
One — cleaning does matter. It allows for the removal of ick, build-up, accumulation, and leaves behind the stuff that… matters!
Two — this blog addresses matters to do with cleaning. There’s so much baggage around cleaning. I offer not just tips for the act of cleaning, but metaphor and process for considering cleaning, its implications, and what a beautifully subjective experience it is.
Three — the matter of cleaning (supplies, materials, liquids, solvents, tools, etc.) impact our homes, our families and pets, our enjoyment of cleaning, and our planet.
I welcome feedback and inquiry. If you would like to contact me, please do!
